Membership Agreement
By enrolling your child in our Public Speaking Program, you, as the attending family, agree to adhere to the following terms and policies outlined below.
Right to Refuse or Cancel Membership:
We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or cancel the membership of any student and their attending family if we believe that the program is no longer a good fit for the student or if there are concerns regarding the student's behavior, participation, or adherence to program guidelines. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the program administrators and instructors.
Communication and Collaboration:
We believe in open communication and collaboration between program organizers, instructors, and attending families. If we have concerns about a student's suitability for the program or if there are issues that need to be addressed, we will initiate a discussion with the attending family to explore potential solutions and seek a mutually beneficial resolution.
Program Expectations:
To ensure a positive and productive learning experience, attending families are expected to:
a. Encourage regular attendance and punctuality for program sessions.
b. Support the development of their child's public speaking skills through practice and constructive feedback.
c. Promote respectful and considerate behavior towards fellow participants, staff and instructors.
d. Respect program guidelines and policies, including our code of conduct.
Code of Conduct:
All program participants are expected to adhere to our code of conduct, which includes guidelines for respectful and responsible behavior during program activities. Any violations of this code may lead to further discussions and, if necessary, membership cancellation.
Refund Policy:
In the event of membership cancellation by program administrators, we will provide a prorated refund for any unused portion of the program fees. Refunds will be processed in accordance with our refund policy.
Appeal Process:
If an attending family disagrees with the decision to cancel their child's membership, they may request an appeal. The appeal process will involve a review by program administrators to ensure fairness and consistency in our decision-making.
Termination Without Refund:
Membership may be terminated without a refund if a student's behavior poses a risk to the safety or well-being of other participants or if they repeatedly violate program policies.
Termination Notification:
In the event of membership cancellation, attending families will be promptly notified in writing or by email, outlining the reasons for the decision.
Commitment to Improvement:
We are dedicated to continuous improvement and the overall success of our students. Our decision to cancel a membership is not taken lightly, and it is done with the best interests of the student and the program in mind.
