REGISTRATION POLICY

Please note: Membership is up to your # of sessions. We encourage all students to attend up to the maximum amount of sessions within their membership, however payment is the same if sessions  are not maximized.

Payment Methods: Visa, Discover, or Mastercard can be accepted for card payments. Payment is US Currency

Invoicing: PSFT invoice charges based on lessons that are upcoming (pre-paid)

Currency: All pricing is listed and charged in US Dollars. Credit payment .

Credit Saving credit card information enrolls your account in autopay for lessons that are upcoming (pre-paid). Payment is automatically withdrawn on the invoice due date.

Required Card on File: All families are required to place a card on file for payment. Payment MUST be received in FULL before students can begin or resume sessions. $35 one-time non-refundable administrative fee for all new enrollments.

Payment Due:  Full payment for session(s) must be submitted upon registration.  Membership auto-renewal covers pre-paid sessions within a 30-day cycle from the day of registration. If you need to change the billing date contact us immediately. By enrolling in our membership, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method automatically on a recurring basis within every 30-day cycle from the day of registration until you cancel. 

Canceling Membership: Email us at info@publicspeakingforteens.com to cancel membership. When canceling a membership, 30-day advance notice before next billing is required. If we do not receive a written cancellation notice, auto-billing will continue. Your cancellation will become effective at the end of your current billing cycle only if 30- day notification is received. If cancelled less than 30 days before next billing payment, you are responsible for the last payment. You will not receive a refund; however your membership access and/or delivery and accompanying member benefits will continue for the remainder of the current billing cycle. We are under no obligation to issue the same or similar discounts in the future.

Price Change: We may change the price and/or provision of Services at any time and will notify you by email at least 30 days before the changes. If you don't agree to the price and/ or service change, you must cancel and stop using the Services before the change takes effect. If we do not receive a cancellation notice, auto-billing will continue and services will be adjusted.

Late Payments: If payment is not received by the due date or before the student(s) first session an Initial $25.00 late fee is billed. If the fee is unpaid by the 7th day, student(s) will be withheld from the session(s) and unable to attend until the amount is paid in full (including late fees).

Declined Payments:  If card payment is declined, there will be a $25.00 processing fee added to your balance. Please make sure your card on file is up to date!! Two attempts to collect payment will be made. In the event, they are unsuccessful the student(s) will be unable to attend sessions until the amount is paid in full (including fees).

Outstanding Balances: Any student who has unpaid fees will not be able to enroll in future sessions, (or attend classes) until paid.

Refund Policy:  For Group Memberships: If within 24 hours from the time of registration you “ change your mind” You may receive a refund. (this does not include workshops, camps, specialty classes etc.) Under extreme circumstances (such as unforeseen closures without the possibility of make-ups), if any refund is issued, the payment of the remaining sessions will be returned. There are No refunds for Private Coaching Packages or Summer Camps. You may use credit for future sessions within package guidelines

Late Registrations & Pro-Rating: Registration can occur at any time during the year (other than the last two weeks), as long as there are open spots in your desired sessions. We do not prorate future missed dates.  You will be charged for sessions from the date of registration (there will be no pro-rating for any missed sessions, past registration date, holidays, including future dates). 

Without approval, Unused, Missed, or Cancelled Sessions do not carry over each month.

Special Promotions: We may occasionally offer promotions with terms outside our standard monthly membership subscription. The specific terms of each promotion are stated at the time the promotion is offered.  At the end of the promotion, your subscription will automatically renew at the rates displayed at the time of purchase.

Membership “Pause”: Email us at info@publicspeakingforteens.com to “PAUSE” membership. You may pause your account for a 1, 2, or 3 month period.  A convenient way to pick up where your child left off. When pausing a membership, 30-day advance notice before next billing date is required. All future charges associated with the 30-day billing cycle of your membership will be paused. Your pause for charges will become effective at the end of your current billing cycle. You will not receive a refund; however your membership access and/or delivery and accompanying member benefits will continue for the remainder of the current billing cycle. If we do not receive a written “PAUSE” notice, auto-billing will continue. (Please Note: Pricing is subject to change during a pause)

Early membership cancellation: Canceling membership prior to the end of the 3-month plan will be subject to 40% of one monthly payment. The amount is based on your membership.

Right to Refuse or Cancel Membership: We reserve the right to refuse enrollment or cancel the membership of any student and their attending family if we believe that the program is no longer a good fit for the student or if there are concerns regarding the student's behavior, participation, or adherence to program guidelines. This decision will be made at the sole discretion of the program administrators and instructors. Read Policy Details Here


GROUP SESSION POLICY

Trial Sessions: Our trial session is a no-obligation complimentary class. You may try one session.  A no-cost registration form in advance is required to attend a trial session. Should you not want to continue after the trial, no payment is owed. If you want to further enroll in the program, payment for membership will be due. PLEASE NOTE: The trial class may not be the student class placement within the program.

Full Session Commitment: By enrolling for a membership,  you are committed to the session(s) for the entire registered membership and all payments are due for that membership from the registration date. There is a 90 -day minimum commitment for all our memberships. Month to Month custom membership is available however, priced differently and only upon request.

Students are required to attend the program sessions they originally registered for upon enrollment. This includes adherence to the registered course title, scheduled time, and designated day. Program changes will only be considered upon formal request and must receive approval. Approval will be granted based on the availability of space in the requested session.


SCHEDULING GROUP or PRIVATE SESSIONS

We encourage all students to attend the maximum amount of group sessions within their membership and billing cycle. (Ex: Billing on the 10th of each month . Students have from Jan. 10-Feb. 10 to attend their allotted group sessions based on membership level ) Please note: Payment is the same if group sessions are not maximized.

Parent/Guardian or student is responsible for scheduling, rescheduling or canceling group sessions through the Student Portal

Group Scheduling Deadline: 2 hours before class start time. Students cannot join a group session after the sign-up deadline has passed.

Private Sessions are scheduled through the administrative office on an individual basis.

Membership & Group or Private Sessions are Per Student. Siblings do not share sessions or membership.


UNUSED, MISSED OR CANCELLED SESSIONS

Cancel and reschedule sessions through the Student Portal

Unused, Missed, or Cancelled sessions: do not carry over to the next billing cycle unless approved.

24-hour notice required. Cancellation notification received within the required time, a rescheduled session may be booked within the same week or at the next available time within the current billing cycle based on schedule availability.

No Show Policy Group Sessions: If a student misses a group session without notification (NO SHOW) a Make-up session is NOT available.

  • If a third NO SHOW occurs the students’ scheduling access may be Paused or Canceled.

No Show Policy For Private Coaching: If a student misses a session without notification (NO SHOW) a makeup session will NOT be provided. Without approval Unused, Make-up, Missed, or Cancelled sessions: do not carry over to the next billing cycle unless approved.

Make-Up Policy: Make-ups are NOT automatic. Approved Make-ups must be scheduled ahead of time by emailing info@publicspeakingforteens.com. Make-ups are only available by attending the same session-level during another day and/or time, based on availability within the same billing cycle. If you do not attend and/or cancel an approved scheduled make-up, you forfeit that makeup session. Make-Ups are not carried over to the next billing cycle, no refunds or credits will be given for any unexcused missed sessions.


ATTENDING SESSIONS

Students are required to attend the program sessions they originally registered for upon enrollment. This includes adherence to the registered course title, scheduled time, and designated day. Program changes will only be considered upon formal request and must receive approval. Approval will be granted based on the availability of space in the requested session.

Late Policy:  10 Minute Grace Period. After 10 minutes without notification, admission into the group will be denied.

Late Arrival Policy for Private Coaching: 10 MINUTE GRACE PERIOD. After 10 min with no notification session will close. No additional time will be added to the session. 100% of the session will be charged. No refund. No Credit

All sessions are first-come, first-served. A student’s spot will not be saved. It is the parent/guardian’s or student’s responsibility to schedule sessions in a timely manner. You may book sessions in advance.

Full sessions & Waitlist: If you are interested in a session that is currently full, you may add your student to the waitlist. Should any spaces open at a later date, we will contact you.

Group Session Minimum & Low Enrollments: We see to have a minimum of three (3) students enrolled in each group session, or the session may be canceled or combined with another. If the session is canceled, your student will have to move to another day and/or time. You will be contacted if this should occur. PSFT reserves the right to cancel or combine classes due to low enrollment. In this case, it will not impact your available monthly sessions.


PROGRAM CLOSURE OR CANCELLATIONS

In the event PSFT is closed in observance of any holiday or other program closure. Additional session dates will be added to the schedule calendar to provide multiple opportunities for students to attend on an alternate date, when program closures affect their original attendance schedule.

Force Majeure: Any cancellations due to weather, unforeseen circumstances, or program issues will result in an added make-up (either group or individually scheduled).

If there is inclement weather, blackouts or other closings, you can find out about session cancellations by:

  • 2. Checking your email we have on file for cancellations. Please add info@publicspeakingforteens.com to your address book (check your spam folder as well, just in case!).

All Weekday session cancellations will be announced by 12: 00 pm ET and all Saturday session cancellations will be announced by 8:00 am ET (the latest - they may be announced earlier). If there are no notifications after these times, classes are still on!
